  Blog Post 2: synthesis

I think that some people do have advantages when it comes to competition and sports. Some advantages are genetic and some are just formed out of hard work and dedication. Someone who is in gymnastics and is double jointed will probably be a little better and naturally more flexible than someone who has worked hard to become flexible and to be better. It is the same situation with other sports as well, such as: football, hockey, track, swimming, lacrosse and soccer. Some are just born great and others have to work for it.

Gladwell’s opinion is that you cannot be nothing and get to something. That we a huge part of who we are and what we do we owe to our parents and in some cases our country. I do agree with Gladwell’s opinion we do need help to become something that is great that we cannot do it on our own.
