BLOG POST 2: SYNTHESIS

 

        I believe that some people do have advantages. When I was in the junior Olympics I had to be with the 15 and 16 year olds and I was only 14. Most of the people that were in my age group had much more experience than me. I was the only one that was in middle school everyone else was in high school and did high school track. This created a very big disadvantage for me when I had to run. I do agree with Gladwell because he said that most people that were born in January have an advantage and I do agree with that. The chapter didn’t make me rethink about my response it just made me connect because I’ve been through the same thing. The sources he used to convince me was hockey and birthdays and these were some of the sources he used to make his point.
