Aurora Santos Blog Post 2: Synthesis.

 

When I think about accomplishing goals I never thought that you can be born with advantages or disadvantages. I always thought that people who are successful are the people who work really hard for the part. Malcom Gladwell (author of the Outliers) stated “we don’t ride from nothing. We do owe something to parentage and patronage.” He prove that most of the professional hockey player were born in the first three months, because that is when the beginning of the winter season and that they had more lessons to prepare. Schools have done thing as well, if you are born in the early year you would be put you in a high class so when you move on to a high school you are automatic in the advance placement classes all because they had more of a learning step. After all I now I think that we all the great successful people had a big advantage and people don’t even realize.
