Romeos Punishment Yay or Nay
Romeo's Punishment is not a good enough excuse because he acted out of anger because his best friend was killed. Tybalt killed Mercutio first when they brawled on the beach. "Not Romeo, Prince, he was Mercutio's best friend. his fault concludes buts what the law should end, the life of Tybalt."(Act iii, Scene 1, Pg 144). Romeo felt responsible because Tybalt killed Mercutio while Romeo made Mercutio venerable. Therefor he felt he was at fault for Mercutios death. Tybalt was begging for death by coming back to the beach. consequentially Tybalt was slain by romeo because he didn't lay low and stay away from romeo and his anger. Nevertheless that is why romeo's Punishment is not justified
