Oh Romeo, Thou Art Romeo!

In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo is very love-struck.  In act one scene one it states, “Out of favour where I am in love” (Shakespeare 34). This shows that when Romeo sees a beautiful girl, and he falls in love. Romeo feels that time runs by so slow when someone is in love. He could also be considered a lady’s man because he says nice things about women. One thing Romeo says is, “Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear” (Shakespeare 68). This quote shows that he “knows” how to get the women. He always tries to sweet talk them. From the parts we have read, I like Romeo. Romeo always strives for love. He won’t give up on it, even if others want him too. I don’t identify with him at all. This is because I don’t say I’m in love with someone and then say nope, this person is better. If I’m truly in love with someone, I will stay in love with them no matter what.
