ROWDY AND HIS REACTION TO REARDEN
Rowdy and Junior have been friends for a long time, but as Junior makes a decision to change from a poor school to a small rich school, Rowdy doesn't agree with Junior's decision at all. Rowdy and Junior have been through a lot together, from Rowdy reading comics and Junior making comics. Throughout the book, their relationships grew better and better. But then Junior realizes that the school that he is going is not helping him. He knows about this rich school, Rearden, and decides that Rearden is where he should be for a challenge and to help him throughout life. He finally make his decision and tells Rowdy. Rowdy did not like the decision. He screamed and punched Junior. Rowdy probably acted this way because they had such a close relationship and considering that Rowdy's Dad is always drunk and beating him and his mother, Junior seems to be the only one that Rowdy can talk to. Rowdy has been through a lot and with his best friend leaving, he probably isn't to please. So, even though Rowdy and Junior might not be best friends anymore, they'll probably always be friends in their own way.
