Chapter 8 #1

Junior experiences a difficult time in his life which is choosing to move to a new school which is 22 miles away from his home. He is leaving his home behind, the Indians on the reservation, and his best friend Rowdy. I also had experienced the same as Junior because I had to move states and schools. I used to go to school in Texas but my dad got a new job in Colorado so I had to leave everyone I knew behind. Though moving states at a young age wasn't as difficult, the hardest being in Colorado, where I had to go to a new middle school. When I moved middle schools, I left all my elementary friends behind and once I got in, I didn't know anybody at Fox Ridge. I decided to do this because it was the closest school to my house so it would be the most beneficial. It was hard to make friends in middle school since everyone else knew each other from their old elementary schools. Despite these hardships, I overcame this dilemma.
